New Jersey, USA: Recently, the families of Iwuagwu and Okafor in Ibo land recently witnessed the traditional marriage event (Igba Nkwu) of their children Chikara Ozioma Iwuagwu and Emeka Emmanuel Okafor at the St. John Theologian Banquet Hall in Tenafly New Jersey. The event was widely attended by relatives, friends, and well wishers from around the world.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with the arrival of relatives, friends, and well wishers from around the United States. After guests settled down, the MC Sir Frank Ekeigwe and the Chairman Chief Sir Jerry & Chief Lady Rose Iwuagwu were intorduced. The groom’s and bride’s family were then introduced followed by the observation of other opening protocols such as opening prayers and the presentation of Kolanut. The bride and groom were ushered in by a preliminary entrance dance of the bridal train and groom’s men. They were cheerfully welcomed by guests who danced with them. Dinner was served. The bride then searched for and found the groom and the two then approached their parents for their blessings. The mothers Mrs. Bridgette and Lady Joy Iwuagwu were introduced.
