The Iheomas Celebrate Golden Jubilee and Retirement

Dr. Jude and Dr Esochi Iheoma Celebrate Golden Jubilee (50th Birthday) and Retirement.

Langhorne, Pennsylvania: Recently, Dr. Iheoma threw a Golden Jubilee party for his wife, Dr. Esochi Iheoma as he also celebrated his retirement from the State of New Jersey. The event was well attended by colleagues friends and well wishers. Notable among the attendees was the representative from the State of New Jersey, Mrs. Theresa Lockette who spoke of Dr. Iheoma’s 27 years of service to the State of New Jersey. The Vice President of Mercer County Community College where Dr. Iheoma also retired as an Assistant Professor spoke his many years of dedication to teaching and mentoring students. The President of World Igbo Congress Nze Joe Eto was present and graced the occasion by showering Dr./Mrs. Esochi Iheoma with all kinds of accolades stating that she is the best gift for her husband.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Guests settled to a cocktail hour before the MC was introduced. The celebrants Dr Jude and Dr. Esochi Iheoma were then ushered in. There were the opening prayer and presentation of Kola-nut led by traditional fathers in the house. Sir Emma Okoro delivered the Igbo news (Akuko Uwa) and the floor was opened for a free for all dancing and boogieing. Dr. Esochi, the Golden Jubilee celebrant was then ushered in by family members, and with their support she cut the jubilee birthday cake and attendees were then invited to come around and toast to her celebration after a touching tribute by her husband and host of the event, Dr. Jude Iheoma. There was serenade by Mrs. Chidima Osuala and the floor was opened again for all dancing which led into the early hours of the morning. Best wishes to both Dr. Jude Iheoma and Dr. Esochi Iheoma.
