New Jersey: The Miss Africa Tri-State Pageant 2013 was recently held in New Jersey, United States.
HIGHLIGHTS AND HOW IT HAPPENED: The Miss Africa Tri-State 2013 was recently held in New Jersey and was attended by a mixture of Fashion and culture enthusiasts. There were great performances by the Yaaya cultural group. The President of the Pageant organization, Mrs. Olamide Davies Talabi was given a recognition award from the Newark Mayor’s office; Cory Booker for her contribution to the community most especially the African’s in Diaspora. The beautiful contestants then showcased their attributes in various ways including displays in African outfits as well as through their talent presentations. In the end, it was a tightly contested affair and the eventual winner of the Miss Africa Tri State 2013 emerged in the person of Miss Zoubaidatou Sylla from Guinea. The 1st Runner Up was Miss Priscilla Twumasi from Ghana, and the 2nd Runner Up was Miss Michelle Onu from Nigeria. Scroll down for photo coverage.
