Nollywood Producers Guild, USA Holds Annual End of Year Event in New Jersey
New Jersey USA: Members of the Nollywood Producers Guild, USA came together over the weekend to hold their annual end of year event. The event was attended by several members in the East Coast of the United States and other participants and filmmakers from Nollywood in Nigeria such as the veteran actor and film producer, Chief Vitalis Ndubusi who came all the way from his base in Nigeria. There were other African entertainment industry personalities in attendance such as Wale Idris Ajibade, CEO of African Views organization and Hon. Olamide Davies, CEO of Miss Africa Tri-State Pageant. Some Guild members who were unable to make the event either because of holiday travels or ongoing production called in from location to extend their support. While thanking all attendees, the President of the Guild, Oliver O. Mbamara stated that besides being an occasion for fun and holiday interactions, the annual end of year gathering has become a tradition that provides members with a casual atmosphere to discuss important current issues facing Nollywood and how to continue resolving them towards moving the industry forward.
