New York, New York: Recently, the Goodluck Support Group , USA held the inauguration of its New York Chapter at One United Nations Plaza in New York. In attendance were several dignitaries such as the Special Guest of Honor, Barrister Ahmed Gulak, Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Political Affairs and National Coordinator of the Goodluck Support Group (GSG) and Ambassador Habibu Habu, Consul-General of Nigeria in New York.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with the arrival of members of the support group and several guests dominated by Nigerians in Diaspora interested in finding out what the President Goodluck Jonathan “Transformation Agenda” entailed. There was a press reception followed by opening remarks by Dr. Godwin C. Duru, Deputy Director, Goodluck Support Group (GSG). Dinner was served and the keynote speech was given by the Special Guest of Honor, Barrister Ahmed Gulak, followed by remarks by others including Ambassador Habibu Habu, Consul-General of Nigeria and Chief Temitope Ajayi, US National Coordinator GSG USA.
