The Nollywood Producers Guild USA and African Pictures Inc have kicked off the shooting of a combined Nollywood, Hollywood international feature film with the arrival of Nollywood top actress Annie Macaulay Idibia. The wife of music superstar TuFace Idibia and a co-star actress in the popular movie BlackBerry Babes just arrived in New York with her manager Naomi Adenuga.
The film which addresses issues of sociological conflicts and survival faced by both immigrants and indigenes of the multi-cultural American City of New York will feature Nollywood legend Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Chinny Chukwu, Pascal Atuma and many more talented Nollywood and Hollywood actors. Though presented by the Nollywood Producers Guild USA, the film will be directed by the Guild’s John Uche with Pascal Atuma leading the team of Guild producers which include such other pioneer Nollywood producers in Diaspora as Bethels Agomuoh, Oliver O. Mbamara, and Felix Nnorom among other Guild producers like Chisom Oz-Lee, Chuck Ajoku, and others.
