African Events Artist Profile:
Perfecta Ekpo is one of the most hardworking artists around. Born in Ikot-Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State Perfecta took up dancing, acting, and singing while she was growing up. She studied Theatre Arts at University of Calabar and later joined the National Troupe of Nigeria before moving to the United States where she honed her talents in singing and dancing and went ahead to create her own dancing group and singing band.
Perfecta has gone ahead to release a number of songs including; “Hope for Nigeria” and her just released new single featuring MC Galaxy titled “My Darling.” Currently she enjoys the following accolades: Singer-songwriter at Perfecta Ekpo’s Ukoafricana Live Music Band, Dancer, singer and Actor at National Troupe of Nigeria and Singer/Dancer/Actor at Cross River State, Min of Culture N tourism, Performing Art Dept.
