Manhattan Borough President's Reception of Senegal's Minister of Housing, Aug. '03

On the evening of Monday, August 11, 2003, the Honorable C. Virginia Fields, Borough President of Manhattan, hosted a reception in behalf of the Minister of Housing of Senegal, Me Madicke Niang and members of his delegation. The forum was held at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building on 125th Street and was also attended by representatives of the city's business and housing community including Denise Notice-Scott, Managing Director of New York City Local Initiatives Support Corporation and Prof. Lionel McIntyre of the Urban Technical Assistance Center of Columbia University. Council Member Bill Perkins was also in attendance to welcome the delegation. The forum helped in the mutual exchange of development ideas and helped to foster additional partnerships.
