at the Amarachi's lounge in Brooklyn, New York. The event was attended

IT HAPPENED: The event started in earnest with a welcome
address by the group's director. This was followed by an eclectic combination
of African dances, drums, singing, and comedy by members of the group.
The audience applauded and capped their appreciation of the evening with
a standing ovation at the end of the show
