Magundo Touray of Gambia weds, August 2003 in New York

The Touray family of Gambia handed their daughter in marriage to the Simaha family also of Gambia. It was an occasion highlighted with Gambian culture, tradition, and fashion. As usual, our men, Oliver Mbamara, Esq. and Sir Felix Citor Nnorom were there to bring you the complete coverage of the event enhanced with scintillating photo shots.

Beautiful Magundo Touray, The Bride

BRIDE AND THE BRIDESMAID: Magundo takes a pose with her line of beautiful bridesmaid - A tip of what beauty can be found in the African nation of Gambia.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The event commenced with attendees taking their seats in as DJ Ali blasted away with a mixture of English and Francophone vibes. The couple then entered, ushered in by elegant bridesmaid and groomsmen. The Gambian wedding protocol was accommodated side by side with the American contemporary wedding protocols.  Food and drinks were served and the audience quickly got on the dance floor to the Gambian dance steps. There was a brief interlude for the couple to cut the cake, and the bride threw the bouquet into a crowd of waiting young girls.  After then, it was dance, dance, dance till dawn.
